Enter the game with a new smartphone under COSMOTE Romania brand
COSMOTE Romania has always been focusing in making communication accessible to all its customers. As the newest trends and technologies are evolving around smarpthones, COSMOTE enriches its smartphones portfolio with a new handset under its own brand, which comes to make the smartphones even more accessible to anyone. In order to promote the new handset, the company launched an advertising campaign having the Angry Birds games as trigger.

COSMOTE move is a TFT, 2.8 inch capacitive touch-screen smartphone, using Android Froyo, with EDGE and HSDPA connectivity offering a download speed of up to 7.2 Mbps. The connectivity is completed by WiFi and Bluetooth availability.

COSMOTE move is a versatile and polyvalent smartphone which can be used by both social media addicts as well as by entry-level business people. The price starts at 1 leu with the 24-month COSMOTE Enjoy subscription offering 150 national minutes, 700 on-net minutes and on-net SMSes and 500MB of mobile data traffic monthly, all for 17.1 euro per month, VAT included. COSMOTE move is also available at an accessible 499 lei (VAT included) price, without subscription.

The users of COSMOTE move will have access to thousands of applications, amongst which the well-known Angry Birds games. The customers can download Angry Birds simply by accessing a dedicated link from the web’n’walk portal; moreover, special Angry Birds ringtones and wallpapers are available for free on web’n’walk.

COSMOTE move will be available in 2 versions of colours, white or black, and the capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 320x240 pixels and 262,000 colours. Move also comes with light sensor, accelerometer, GPS, digital compass – these last two proving to be very useful when the urban landscape changes from a day to another due to unceasing works.

The handset has an internal memory of 150MB and a slot for external memory card with up to 32GB (available separately), more than enough for storing multimedia files, whose playing is possible through the audio player (supporting MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA formats), respectively the video player (supporting H263, MPEG4 and 3GP formats). The terminal has a 2MP digital camera with video function.

In order to promote the new handset, COSMOTE Romania launched an advertising campaign encouraging the customers to join the games with a very accessible smartphone. The new campaign is part of a Deutsche Telekom initiative for promoting smartphones and has as focal point the Angry Birds games with declinations for TV, Print, web and in store materials.
