Cosmote Romania launches Connect MF60 mobile hotspot

Cosmote Romania launches Connect MF60 Wi-Fi hotspot, a mobile hotspot device, which allows the customers to create their own Wi-Fi network, wherever they travel. The modem offers up to 21.6 Mbps download speed and enables users to store information on a MicroSD slot card.
Connect MF60 comes in black and has an impressive industrial design. It is an ultra-portable Wi-Fi wireless router allowing Wi-Fi-enabled mobile devices such as iPad and iTouch to share wireless Internet connections over Wi-Fi. With a USB 2.0 High Speed interface, the new modem offers a download speed of up to 21.6 Mbps and an upload speed of up to 5.76 Mbps and supports five Internet connections at the same time, compatibles with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.
Connect MF60 modem has a LED display and a battery of 1500 mAh. The running time is of almost 4 hours (permanent data transfer), while the battery can last up to 100 hours in standby. The device comes with automatic installation of drivers and with Wi-Fi Security: WEP/WPA/WPA2/WAPI.
Moreover, the new modem allows the users to send and receive SMS directly from its web interface and has a strong compatibility, being able to connect with following technologies: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA+.
The modem will be available in all COSMOTE and Germanos stores for 29 RON (VAT included) with COSMOTE XL subscription for 2 years. With this subscription, the users benefit from 25 GB traffic/month and Internet access with high speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps.
The customers can test the ultra-portable Wi-Fi wireless router in 40 COSMOTE Romania and Germanos stores.
