COSMOTE Romania comes forward to meet this necessity by launching, starting tomorrow, Travel & Surf Pass, a post-paid offer aimed to deliver a completely worry free web surfing experience to travellers abroad within the EU. Travel & Surf Pass will be offered in three versions and targets post-paid customers, both residential and business, who are addicted to being in contact with the digital universe, are familiar with mobile technologies and who want to fully benefit from the capabilities of their handsets while abroad, too. “With Travel & Surf Pass, COSMOTE users can forget about loosing control of MB consuming and running out of available traffic. The pass concept we launch tomorrow is very advantageous and brings the benefit of surfing the internet without cost constrains, while travelling abroad. COSMOTE customers will be able to choose from a variety of data passes, suitable to any kind of internet activity in any EU country, including the first EU wide data Roaming flat rate, at prices to as low as 6,67 Eurocents/ MB (VAT excluded). As a first on the market, the users who have a data and Roaming service active on their account can activate the Travel & Surf Pass simply by choosing between one of the three Passes displayed on a landing portal page. The landing page is an attractive web user interface providing information, purchase of roaming passes and cost-control, opening when the web browser is started for surfing or if an URL is entered in the already active browser. The landing page is offered free of charge to the customers, both in country or in Roaming in EU countries. Travel & Surf Daily S and Travel & Surf Daily M are available for one day. The user can purchase a new pass after the expiration of the validity or after the traffic allowance is consumed. For Travel & Surf Weekly if the customer is using the included traffic before the end of the validity period (7 days) the data traffic will be still allowed, free of charge, but the speed will be limited until the end of the validity period. To restore the data speed, the customer can choose to acquire any new pass. Travel & Surf is valid not only in specific preferred EU networks but in all EU countries and networks were COSMOTE has roaming data agreements, without limitation or restriction. The Travel & Surf data roaming offering is part of Deutsche Telekom's group wide initiative to make using mobile internet abroad easier and less expensive.
