Profi ends 2011 with 108 stores in operation
This week PROFI opens three new stores and, together with the one it has recently inaugurated in Oradea, the retailer’s network gets to count 108 units at year end.

“We are proud to successfully conclude 2011 with one store more than initially announced,” said PROFI Rom Food CEO Pawel Musial.

“To celebrate this feat, we have persuaded Santa to offer presents to children who recite poems at our new locations in Timisoara, Bucuresti and Recas as well as at our already established stores in Suceava and Ramnicu Valcea.”

On December 13, PROFI opened gates to its sixth store in Timisoara, in the Iozefin area, at 1, Regele Carol Boulevard, displaying 520 sq.m. in total area and a 330 sq.m. sales room.

The next day, Recas will see its first PROFI store in operation and the network expanded to cover 68 localities in Romania. Located at 5, Pietei Street, this unit covers 800 sq.m. and has a 370 sq.m. sales area.

On December 15, the 108th PROFI store will be inaugurated in Bucharest so the number of units in the capital city grows to 20. This new PROFI retail space makes life more comfortable for the residents of Drumul Taberei area. Located at 6A, Lunca Cernei street, the unit covers a total 770 sq.m., with a 561 sq.m. sales room.

Actors, singers and dancers will perform at the new stores, singing carols and performing to the tune of traditional Romanian music, while DJs will add to the show.

Santas, clowns and face painting artists will do their best to bring happiness to the children visiting each of those places, while parents will enjoy free bags full of PROFI products and vouchers allowing them to cut their spending on their next visit to the PROFI stores.

For those who want more than just to go shopping, hot food and mulled wine they can find at those locations will make their PROFI visit even more enjoyable.
