After working for 8 years in Colliers, Maria Florea, former manager of the office department becomes Head of Office Agency for Jones Lang LaSalle. During her career, Maria has proactively engaged in management and business development strategies, training junior brokers and winning numerous mandates.
The new division under the leadership of Maria Florea, comes to support the already established tenant representation division, by exclusively representing landlords and non corporate clients on the tenant side and will offer the firm’s clients access to a wide variety of brokerage and advisory services.
Marius Scuta, Head of Office Department & Tenant Representation, declares: "The office department of Jones Lang LaSalle had a remarkable 2013, concluding the largest office leasing transactions on the market, and we mention here Electronic Arts Inc., Honeywell, and Deutsche Bank. Jones Lang LaSalle was also the consultant that negotiated the latest deal announced in the press, the lease renewal and extension of Procter and Gamble in Iride Business Park. "
"2014 is announced to be an intriguing year for the office market, even more dynamic than 2013, taking into account the growing interest from IT, SSC and BPO companies to open new operations in Romania, as a preferred destination over competing countries in CEE.
We will witness new office markets taking shape as part of the challenge to balance Bucharest in terms of urban planning and traffic flows by the delivery of a number of important office projects such as Green Gate, Green Court, City Offices and AFI Park 2 and 3. Given the increased activity of our clients, the local management decided to reinforce the office department, by acquiring one of the most experienced managers in Romania. With the appointment of Maria Florea’s as Head of Office Agency division (, Jones Lang LaSalle aims to cover the needs of the office market on both fronts: tenants and owners. By doing so, JLL is now the only real estate consultant that has two distinct office agency divisions. In this way we guarantee the confidentiality and business ethics through exclusive representation of only one party in a transaction", Marius Scuta concluded..
