Real4You Group obtains the PUZ for the MegaMall project on the Electroaparataj site and secures the first anchor tenants On December 13th 2011, Real4You Group has obtained the PUZ for their 70,000 sq m project in Bucharest, MegaMall, located on the site of the former Electroaparataj plant. Only months from the appointment of new agents, the project is approximately 20% leased. The real estate consulting companies Colliers and DTZ Echinox are co-exclusive leasing agents for the four MegaMall projects in Romania.

The issue of the PUZ for the land plot is an important milestone in the construction calendar of the project and a key element for the attainment of the building permit and construction start in the second half of 2012.

The recently signed tenants are located on the first underground level of MegaMall, occupying approximately 20% of the leasing surface of the shopping center. The stores will benefit of easy access to the underground parking, with over 2,300 units, as well as of a direct connection to the metro station scheduled for delivery in the immediate proximity of the project.

Their presence confirms the quality of the project and its location and has generated interest from numerous brands to join MegaMall Bucharest from an early stage and secure the best spots. With the PUZ in place, we are optimistic and enthusiastic about future leases.

“We are happy to receive such a positive news; the PUZ shows the local authorities support the project and gives a further boost for the leasing process.”, stated Simina Istrate, Associate Director within the Retail Division of Colliers International.

MegaMall Bucharest is a 70,000 sq m mall to be developed at the junction of Iancului and Pantelimon roads, on the former industrial platform Electroaparataj. The scheme will benefit from a catchment area of over 1.2 million inhabitants and it is the first to address the shopping needs of people living in the Eastern side of Bucharest.

Real4You Group also will develop several shopping centers throughout Romania, in cities such as Satu Mare, Focsani and Targu Mures, branded as Mega Mall. The countryside shopping centers will have between 18,000 sq m and 22,000 sq m each and will be anchored by a hypermarket or a supermarket. Outside the country, Real4You will next start the construction works of Mega Mall Sofia in February 2012.

In the .jpz format, it's easy for the pzlzue maker to set the block color to a dark or light gray instead of pure black. So this could be built in to .jpz pzlzues. I agree that it's a shame that Puzzle Solver doesn't have a 1-page printout for large pzlzues.I don't understand Pannonica's query about no moving laterally among adjacent entries. You just use the Return or Enter key to move quickly through the Across clues, the Down clues, and then the Radial clues. This is just like Across Lite except that Across Lite also allowed you to use Tab key for the same purpose. I think Java prevents that with Puzzle Solver. You can also use arrow keys to move around. (In the Roundabout pzlzue the special lights do confound the arrow-key navigation a little bit.)Currently active clue is red and surrounded by red highlighting, and crossing word clue is also in red letters just like in Across Lite. (But in the Roundabout pzlzue, because Across & Down clues were combined, you don't see that two clues are red at the same time unless you scroll within the clues.)One drawback although you can have non-horizontal and non-vertical lights, you can only have two sections in the Clues area, so you either have to group special clues with the Across and with the Down in some way, or do what we did here, which was group Across & Down, then group the special clues separately. I just don't think that Antony Lewis imagined a rectangular pzlzue would have a need for more than Across and Down as a way of dividing up clues.

Thanks to all that have been tinryg this out. We have had a few questions about commercial use of this service. Since many of the questions are similar, let me clarify it here.The intent behind the relevant terms in the TOS regarding this issue is the following:1. If the use of the service results in free access of crosswords to solvers, then we will not come in the way of any commercial transaction that may happen between the author and the owner of the publishing venue where the crosswords appear. The pricing in such arrangements is typically so low that us taking a cut would simply discourage the use. This doesn’t mean that there is no commercial value to authors or syndicates. For example, an author can sell a crossword subscription to an online newspaper, host the crosswords here and provide the embed link to each of its client newspapers. As long as that newspaper is publishing it free on that site for visitors perhaps with ad revenue, then we don’t come into the value chain.2. If authors or other entities want to sell an interactive crossword service using our service to end-users directly, then we will not prohibit it but ask for a revenue share arrangement for using our service for this purpose. It doesn’t make sense for us to give away the bandwidth and storage so someone else can make money off of the end users at our expense. We aren’t Google! It is like renting crossword publishing hosting service to create a paid service but to pay the rent only if and when you get paid directly from the solver customers.So it is quite simple really. You don’t get a free ride from us if your business model involves selling interactive content to end users for a fee and you will need to do a revenue share. Otherwise, it is free for you to use even when there is a commercial transaction involved.We don’t want to define or limit what potential business models can come out of using this service. And we want to encourage content owners to make money using this if they can. They just didn’t have a convenient way to self-publish interactively before without hosting services of their own or having to make their client sites install software. This fills that gap.Hope that clarifies.
