Cosmote Romania Group of Companies received at the end of 2013 two new Management Systems Certifications. Cosmote Romania certified its Information Security Management System, respectively Germanos Service certified its Quality Management System. The new certifications prove the compliance of information security management system of COSMOTE Romania with ISO 27001, respectively the full compliance of Germanos Service quality management system with ISO 9001.
“Excellence in business is a very important trait for us and, therefore, receiving the two new ISO Certifications shows that COSMOTE Romania and Germanos Telecom Romania are continuously improving their operational flows in order to offer to our customers the guarantee of high quality and professional services”, stated Gunnar Pahnke, Chief Strategy, Transformation & Wholesale Services Officer Romania.
The certification audits were carried out at the end of December 2013 by a team of auditors of TUV Nord (TUV Hellas) which was selected in 2012 as OTE Group and COSMOTE Romania Group of Companies Certification Body for various management systems: Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001), Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001) and Information Security (ISO 27001).
Moreover, along the time COSMOTE Romania successfully implemented different types of processes and procedures for an effective management. Thus, in 2010, the company received the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification, proving that its entire process model applied is in line with COSMOTE Group process model and offers clear identification of processes, activities, gaps and duplicates, the possibility to eliminate the redundant activities, as well as the continuous improvement of the processes. In 2012, COSMOTE Romania certified its Quality – Environment – Health and Safety integrated management system, proving that business excellence is already part of the company’s culture.
